I'm responsible for two pregnant cows

I have previous written of the benefits of loaning money via Kiva, an organization that makes micro-loans to small entrepreneurs in developing countries. I've mentioned before that I'm financing some beach huts in Samoa that I hope to visit someday, but now I have learned that I'm responsible for two pregnant cows in Azerbaijan!
Greetings from Saatli Azerbaijan! We visited the business of Israfil Omerovon 19 March 2008 to learn how the Kiva loan was used. Israfil used the loan as planned to purchase livestock. This is a family business and Israfi's cousin was tending to the animals when we visited. Two of the cows are currently pregnant. They intend to sell both calves next year for about $480 each. Currently their income comes from selling milk and cheese.
I'm also funding auto repair shop in Cambodia, a cook in Honduras, and a shoe shop in Ukraine, among others. It's very cool.
